WasteCare is a keen believer in supporting worthy causes on both a regional and national level. As well as the various charity work the company participates in, the Group also supports environmental and local community schemes which contribute to the wider society.

12 months ago, WasteCare committed to be one of the two main sponsors for LetsRecycle’s Zero Waste Awards, a topic which is reflected in WasteCare’s ethos of reducing landfill. After successfully highlighting the issues surrounding zero waste and rewarding companies who embrace the idea, WasteCare has now committed to an on-going sponsorship of the Zero Waste Awards.

At the other end of the scale, the company has been a long standing supporter of local sports clubs concluding that sports is a key method of motivating both young and old in everyday life. East Leeds cricket club is one of the number of clubs supported by the company who will also benefit from a further 12 months sponsorship.
