WasteCare Group ensures NCP completes its national switchover with 100% recycling.

Recent innovations in lighting have seen the technology behind the lighting become steadily more efficient, firstly with energy saving bulbs allowing bulbs to last for many years longer and then more recently with LED bulbs supplying light lasting for double the time at a fraction of the cost.

This most recent innovation to LEDs has provided a valuable source of money saving for many businesses whilst also contributing to large organisations’ corporate social responsibility strategy.

It is with this in mind, that NCP have decided to launch renovations at all of their UK multi storey sites, upgrading original fluorescent tube lighting with state of the art, efficient and environmentally friendly LEDs manufactured by Whitecroft Lighting.

A key concern for the leading lighting manufacturer, Whitecroft Lighting, was to ensure the old fluorescent tubes were collected efficiently and recycled. WasteCare Group with its national fleet of over 200 vehicles and range of UK wide treatment sites offered the ideal solution.
