WasteCare has recently performed its first collection round outside of the EU. The largest dry cleaning provider in Jersey, Angora Besco, had a large stockpile of hazardous dry cleaning solution and WasteCare was the obvious solution. After completing the mountain of paperwork required for the job and after a year’s negotiation with the Environment Agency we sent a Taunton truck to make the trip. Not only was special permission required to transport the waste into this country from outside of the EU but we also negotiated a special vehicle licence to allow access for our large vehicle to drive on the island’s small roads.
Not only were Angora Besco delighted with our level of service and efficiency but they were also pleased with our low cost solution.
