Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 + bonus and benefits
Location: Garforth, Leeds
This job will primarily be based on site, we are key workers, providing hazardous and clinical waste solutions nationwide. An initial interview may be telephone based, but part of the process will be in person and if you’re successful, you’ll need to work form the office most of the time.

To drive our growth, we are always looking for the best talent to join our teams across all our divisions. We are currently looking for a business intelligence analyst to work from our office in Garforth, Leeds.
We’re very complex, we have multiple business models from the refurbishment and sales of IT equipment through to high temperature incineration, from workplace decontamination through to industrial packaging production. This means that we develop most of our software in house and have full control over what data we capture. Primarily, you’ll be responsible for analysing our pricing processes and implementing commercial reporting making sure we are always charging our customers the right price. You’ll be delivering reports and analysis that allow our finance team to better use the commercial output of our ERP.
However, we are varied and we move very quickly, so you’ll enjoy being challenged with a wide variety of projects and work, you’ll need to work with people around the business to understand their processes and implement dashboards and devise KPIs – ensuring that we can easily understand what’s happening across the WasteCare Group.
You’ll be able to help shape our data warehousing and systems development, working closely with IT and development. You’ll ensure we’re generating the correct data and implementing process changes to make us more efficient. You’ll need to think critically and be inquisitive, spotting issues, trends and potential problems that won’t be immediately apparent, raising these in an actionable way or suggesting solutions.
- Creative problem – solving skills and critical thinking
- Database design and data architecture – specifically MS SQL Server
- Strong understanding of SQL – you’ll be extracting data from MSSQL databases
- Strong Excel skills
- Possess strong analytical skills, ability to understand problems, ask questions, and present solutions support with data
- Able to work independently and make decisions without much guidance
- Be happy working in fast moving environment where priorities can change very quickly
