This year’s RWM show was a great success with thousands of companies attending to find out more about the world of recycling and the many developments in our industry. Amongst the looming machinery and throng of attendees it was hard to miss the new addition to the show, our very own “Silver Lady”, the WasteCare Reuse Bus. She proved popular with many visitors, becoming an iconic landmark for attendees to orientate themselves as well as enjoy a coffee and a welcome respite from the madding crowds around. She also helped to demonstrate WasteCare’s commitment to reuse and recycling and enabled our hosts to discuss our many services in the tranquillity of the upper deck.

The journey of the bus to and from the event was given an extra environmental push from WasteCare’s friends Olleco who provided a full tank of bio-diesel.  Nearly a month after the RWM show in Birmingham, Olleco have once again lent a helping hand by picking a winner for our ‘Win the bus competition’.

The winner, picked at random was Dr Turan from Nottingham University. We look forward to providing Dr Turan with a journey of his choice for up to 60 of his friends and colleagues.
