WasteCare to the rescue

Posted on 1st April, 2014

WasteCare rushed to the rescue last week after a fuel barge in the River Orwell was quarantined when 30,000 litres of gas oil was found to be contaminated with bacteria. This meant the fuel could not be used nor pumped into tankers for fear of spreading the contamination. WasteCare was able to remove the product safely and arrange for it to be cleaned and decontaminated to enable it to be used again safely.
