WasteCare have been commissioned by Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to provide a service to collect and process WEEE and IT assets from all their Trust sites. Having been the battery collection service provider for many years, WasteCare are pleased to be given the chance to extend this service to include not only all the electronic waste, but also the secure IT assets.

With such crippling fines being handed out by the ICO for data loss, the Trust can rest a little easier knowing that their redundant IT assets are being collected by an ADISA certified asset disposal company who have specialised in this field for over twenty years. The service includes secure collection with vetted staff, complete online tracking for every movement of every asset, comprehensive asset listing, complete data sanitisation and full identity removal.Doncaster and Bassetlaw

Dave Hall from Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust said “Having visited the WasteCare premises at Normanton in the past, I was very impressed to find they had improved even further on what was already a very good system.

“Security at the site and for the items containing confidential waste (hard drives etc) is first class.”

Mr Hall added: “The amount of different items that they segregate, recycle, recover and re-use is huge, therefore I have no hesitation in using the WasteCare Group for the collection and disposal of all the unwanted WEEE and IT equipment from within the Trust.”
