Admin Assistant

Location: Leeds
Salary: £14,252
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am till 4pm with an hour for lunch

Our Industrial Packaging Division’s bespoke chemical wash plant is able to clean types of containers ranging from contaminated industrial IBC’s to small receptacles. We already enjoy relationships that we have built up through many years of excellent service with sole traders, SMEs and large multi site corporates from all industry sectors.

We also offer excellent pricing on new Industrial Containers and currently supply these to many organisations, including companies in the food and agricultural industry.

We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our team at our PackCare Facility to support the growth of our business.

The Role

  • Planning and scheduling incoming and outgoing loads
  • Liaise with the production department keeping accurate records of stock
  • Update customer accounts
  • Arrange collections and deliveries whilst delivering a high level of customer service
  • Liaise with the Sales team with all queries relating to jobs and orders
  • Accurately invoice customers and process customer orders whilst providing accurate quotes
  • To deal with customer enquiries in a professional and timely fashion, both on the phone and by email
  • Ensure customer service is at the forefront at all times
  • Scanning, photocopying and general admin duties
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested

Key Skills and Experience required

  • Customer service experience is a must

Supervisor

Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 per annum
Location: Widnes, Cheshire

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Supervisor to support and deputise for the Service Centre Manager to oversee our established and credible site in Widnes and to support the growth of our business.

The Role

  • Assisting with the efficient running of a busy Service Centre, overseeing Health and Safety, approximately 15 staff including drivers, production and admin staff.
  • Route planning to utilise
  • Liaise with customers/authorities/WasteCare administration staff.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are on site to maximise use of vehicles and manpower.
  • Prepare and issue to staff appropriate documentation.
  • Ensuring collections are carried out within deadlines set and where appropriate liaise with customers when collections are missed whilst making sure that vehicles are maintained and operated legally.
  • Ensure Tachograph downloads are done within set timescales and information analysed for breaches in use of Tachograph settings, drivers hours and working time.
  • Manage drivers against Drivers hours and Working Time Directive so that we have no breaches.
    Maintain good relations with customers.
  • Ensure that the site that you manage operates within the Environmental Permit, Exemption and Planning Permission and any other legal document which relates you the site you manage.
  • Maintain good relations with environmental/local authorities.

Key Skills and Experience required

  • Minimum 5 years site management experience covering site operational issues, health and safety, regulatory issues and logistics
  • Must have excellent proven track record of man management with a team of 15 plus employees with varying skillsets
  • Must have waste management experience with experience of dealing with the HSE, EA etc..
  • Computer literate- Excel and ERP/stock systems
  • CPC/ADR would be an advantage but is not essential
  • A level in chemistry ideal but not essential

The Role

Successful applicants will be responsible for a group of customers, so having the maturity to problem solve in a methodical manner whilst ensuring all parties are kept involved is a key element to this role
Ensure the customer’s needs are met on time to the required standards, while striving to exceed their expectations

  • Courtesy calls to new customers to ensure they are receiving the high standard of service the Group provides
  • To encourage the return of “dormant” customers whilst promoting our services
  • Process customer orders and provide accurate quotes
