Asda’s busy events calendar last month saw the annual GNFR event. This year the event adopted the new and innovative format for the day prior to the main even of the popular Dragons Den TV series with chosen suppliers presenting innovative improvement ideas to a panel of Asda specialists.

As one of Asda’s most innovative suppliers, WasteCare were asked to participate in the event, making a presentation addressing Asda’s waste and carbon improvements program.

As part of the annual event, this year Asda included a networking event which allowed all the suppliers to present their services to each other. As a key supplier WasteCare were allocated one of only 5 stands to further promote their services.

Both days went extremely well allowing a number of new relationships to be established with other Asda suppliers.
