In September, Ecohouse – our Normanton facility achieved both the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications. The site was subjected to a full day audit by two SGS auditors, both were very impressed with the waste electrical and electronics recycling and refurbishment processes and the way the team on site has developed the barcode tracking software, which demonstrates a full “cradle to re-use” system.

Well done to Paul Casey and his team on this achievement. Over the coming months WasteCare are committed to have all 12 sites accredited to ISO 9001, 14001 and 18000.
