Constantly providing power to over 25 million homes can take its strain on the national infrastructure and the hardware that supports it. Thankfully the National Grid team are seasoned professionals at maintaining and servicing the vast amount of equipment throughout the UK.
The side effect of this on-going effort is a build-up of used oil which requires responsible treatment and recovery.
WasteCare were recently asked to provide this service at three of the National Grid sites, supplying purpose built containers which are to be regularly collected.
