WasteCare backs the Revolution

Posted on 6th September, 2019

If you remember the name Remington, you will surely recall the line “I was so impressed, I bought the company”, well that’s how we feel about KeyWaste Ltd. KeyWaste are the sole supplier of the Revolution in the UK and mainland Europe.

We were first introduced to the Revolution back in 2002. Since then we have bought a number of these impressive and unique compactors for various challenges. KeyWaste, provided the equipment, plant design and ongoing support. We are delighted to announce that KeyWaste has recently been acquired by the WasteCare Group.

Owned and inspired by Martin Fortune, KeyWaste has developed an enviable reputation over the last 20 years for providing onsite equipment and turnkey solutions for helping to improve recycling rates whilst reducing cost. With the sole rights to the manufacture and supply of the much vaunted Revolution, the company has expanded to provide a range of bespoke solutions for the waste management sector that demand energy efficient, environmentally sound solutions that include volume reduction, material separation and/or depackaging capability.

Loyal customer base

KeyWaste has developed a growing and loyal customer base both in the UK and on the continent, including major clients such as Arla, Baxter Healthcare, Britvic, Coors, Grundon, Lucozade Ribena Suntory, Robert Hopkins, Nestle Waters, Next, Stansted Airport and Yeo Valley. “Joining forces with WasteCare will enable us to complement the national success of WasteCare’s one-stop solution to eliminate landfill and promote reuse, recycling and recovery of over 1,000 different waste streams,” stated Mr Fortune.

KeyWaste is to retain its own identity with Mr Fortune very much at the helm.

He said: “By pre-treating bulk waste streams at source enables our clients to maximise recoverable value whilst reducing handling and transport costs. We aim to combine bespoke innovative solutions with a range of financial models, enabling clients to profit further from their waste. Having worked closely with WasteCare for over 15 years this latest step will ensure our existing, as well as new clients, will benefit from an integrated and broad based knowledge pool ready and waiting for virtually any recycling or recovery challenge”.
