Some six months after the Environment Agency published their latest waste management guidance, many businesses and organisations are still getting to grips with these more stringent regulations.
Referred to as WM3 the implications of many of the changes have wide ranging implications for many companies. Packaging previously considered nominally empty and non-hazardous in many instances is now considered hazardous. Compounds that were once below the hazardous threshold are now having to be handled as hazardous.
