The 1st of May saw the annual awards for excellence take place at the Landmark Hotel in London. As well as many awards being given out to successful nominees including Dunelm, Arla Foods and Warrington Borough Council, LetsRecycle also launched the new Zero Waste Awards of which WasteCare is the main sponsor. Members of WasteCare’s sales and marketing team attended the event alongside customers from Asda, St Gobain, John Lewis Partnership, FujiFilm and Origins. We are hopeful the Awards will attract a variety of businesses from a range of different industries who are in pursuit of “zero waste”. The awards fit perfectly with WasteCare’s ethos of maximising reuse and recycling wherever possible. Zero Waste aims to encourage innovation and the determination to achieve cost effective ways of eliminating landfill.
